TITLE: IECEP UAE’s Second Technical Seminar: FUNDAMENTALS OF EMAIL SECURITY

Two words can wrap up this webinar: success and fun! 

The technical session entitled “Fundamentals of Email Security” and led by Mr. Mickoe G. Domingo on March 22, 2025 offered valuable insights into the world of digitalization. It shed light on the vulnerabilities we often overlook in our daily digital interactions. The engaging discussion sparked meaningful dialogue and encouraged participants to become more vigilant with their digital footprint. The Zoom room buzzed with healthy, thought-provoking exchanges. The online event was attended by participants from local and international chapters. 

It was opened with an inspiring keynote message from our esteemed BOE Hon. Adonis Q. Talabo. His speech centered on the journey of Electronics Engineers, emphasizing the importance of continuous professional development and the crucial role ECEs play in society and nation-building. He encouraged attendees to pursue further credentials such as Professional Electronics Engineer (PECE), ASEAN Engineer Registry (AER) membership, and ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer (ACPE) certification. Notably, he called on the younger generation to explore the ever-expanding field of Electronics Engineering with curiosity and passion.

Throughout the event, our ever-energetic host, Engr. Prezel Villasis, kept spirits high with her wit and charm. Her warm and humorous approach helped bridge the gap between long-time members and newcomers alike. The presence of members from other Chapters added to the sense of community and camaraderie.

A wave of laughter and applause concluded the seminar, leaving everyone inspired and more connected than ever. Events like these continue to strengthen the IECEP UAE community—and we’re just getting started!
