The Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines (IECEP) UAE Chapter under the auspices of the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in United Arab Emirates, had successfully hosted its 1st Quarter Technical Seminar and Induction of 2017 Chapter Officers, Board of Directors and Area Coordinators last March 24, 2017 at Safina Ballroom, Grand Excelsior Hotel, Al Barsha Dubai, United Arab Emirates.    It was a fun-filled day last March 10, 2017 in Khalidiya Park, Abu Dhabi, UAE  as  IECEP UAE Officers and members, headed by current Chapter Governor and Chairman of the Board Engr. Analiza Binondo, participated in the BAYANIHAN Family Fun Day 2017.  With the theme “Community and Family is One;Together builds a better world, hand in hand”,  the event was organized by the Bayanihan Council –  the umbrella organization of accredited Filipino groups in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.

Credits to Vice Consul Rowena Daquipil and Ms. Gay Marie Jumuad  IECEP-UAE Chapter, on its commitment to support social awareness and responsibility in the Filipino community, took active participation on the meeting and dialogue with Department of Foreign Affairs Secretary Perfecto Yasay, Jr. The said occasion was held last March 3, 2017 in the CME Hall, Wellness Tower 1, Universal Hospital, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. On his opening statement, DFA Secretary Yasay praised the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) in strengthening the Philippines’ economy. Since the Southeast Asian financial crisis in 1990s, the remittance from OFWs helped the nation overcome
