2025 IECEP UAE Board of Trustees – Voting Guidelines

1. Voting will take place through the MyIECEP Portal. Online voting will be STRICTLY held on Dec 21, 2024 1200H until Dec 22, 2024 1200H (UAE TIME).
2. All Life, Regular, and Associate members with active and valid memberships are eligible to vote.
3. Six (6) positions will be filled: three (3) from Abu Dhabi and three (3) from Dubai (as per By-Laws).
4. ⁠The final result of the election shall be certified by the chairman of the NEC and shall be submitted to the governor for proclamation. (Article X Section 2.6)
5. The new set of BOTs (incumbent & newly elected) may appoint from the remaining candidates or from General Members to fill all vacant positions (for a period of 1year) subject to board resolution approval.

NOTE: Due to the withdrawal of candidacy of Engr. Garry Garcia, there will only be 4 candidates (instead of 5 candidates) vying for open 3 board positions in Abu Dhabi. However, the withdrawal would not require change in the process and thus election will proceed as per guidelines.
